Catherine Gibbs

Catherine came to Churchill with many years of varied experience in speech and language pathology; specifically pragmatic language and social skills groups, various neighborhood ministries and initiatives, and most recently transition services.

She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from the University of Georgia, and a Master’s in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Catherine wears two hats at Churchill.

In the high school she is responsible for assisting our juniors and seniors as they transition into adulthood. Services provided include career exploration and identification, community outreach, job coaching and shadowing.

Additionally, she serves as a liaison to post-high school institutions including both two and four year colleges, and she provides independent living support. She is also available to both lower and high school students in need of articulation, expressive language and pragmatic language intervention.
