Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Homeroom classes are non-graded and students are assigned according to age and maturation.
Upon acceptance into the program, students are tested in order to determine precise academic levels and learning styles.
An Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) which identifies academic and remedial goals is then developed for each student. Students are placed in academic groupings according to their specific skill levels.
Churchill Academy ensures mastery learning through on-going academic assessment.
All students in Grades K-8 receive direct instruction in:
- Written Language

A repetitive, multi-sensory approach to teaching is employed to ensure mastery and retention of material.
